Category Archives: Dessert A month or so ago I sent a note out to my whole team asking them each to send me an email telling me their 4 favorite flavors of ice cream, with the promise that when we were all together in one place in January I would make them the top 4 voted flavors. Within… I have been thinking a lot about cherries lately. I’m not entirely sure why. Ok, I have absolutely no clue why. It’s December and I haven’t seen a live cherry for months. But still, there it is; cherries have been on my mind. The Law of Attraction then, was clearly at play while I was…  Today was hair day. Patty scared me silly by standing behind me with the scissors until I swiftly reminded her, quite firmly, that it most certainly was not a hair cutting day. I am of the opinion that hair cutting is bad for my emotional well-being. (Parents, I know you wanted another boy & you got me…  I do like to pay attention to the little things. Especially the little things that might make the world a better place to be in (even if only for a moment) for the people around me. Like remembering your friend’s favorite brand of chocolate when they are in pressing need of a little treat. Or remembering…  There isn’t one person on my team who didn’t truly deserve a 10 minute ice-cream break by mid-week. So I made them ice-cream. It was a bit of an experiment…the recipe that is. I hadn’t made this particular version before but it felt like cheesecake ice cream marbled with fresh raspberry sauce would go well together. The Cherry Cheesecake & Blueberry… |
